Arab world's view about Turkey has shifted significantly after a chain of developments that started with Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's criticism against Israel President Simon Peres at World Economic Forum in Davos in 2009.

The money withdrawn from banks has reached to 44 billion euros since the beginning of this year. Greeks, that travel to coastal towns such as Çeşme and Marmaris on daily trips, began to deposit their savings to Turkish banks.
